Currently, in Ismayilli region (Galajig village). However, we are planning to expand to other regions of Azerbaijan including Karabagh and Georgia.
Our Runaway houses are tiny (around 19-23 m2) and have been carefully designed by our team to include everything you need and nothing you don't. We provide cooking essentials like oil, salt and pepper, a tiny kitchen with pots and pans, fresh linens and towels, heat, and a hot shower.
Your booking includes a stay for two or four guests, depending on the house. We will have fresh bed linens waiting for you, as well as bath towels, shower products, and basic kitchen wares. Once you arrive, you can also purchase extras from the Runaway Provisions. All houses have their own outdoor space with a fire pit, picnic table and chairs.
Simply open home page, select destination and dates to see available houses, and then confirm your trip. No extra planning necessary. You can also call +994 55 255 23 25 OR +994 55 255 14 04. Monday - Sunday 10am-5pm Baku time to book a Runaway house over the phone.
Safety and ensuring a good experience for all of our guests is important to us. We ask that guests never leave a campfire unattended, to never leave food and/or trash outside, and no pitching tents. We also ask that guests don't play music outside of their houses and to avoid yelling or making unnecessary noise. Violations are subject to a penalty, donated to local conservation groups.
Our Runaway houses are designed to be minimal—we suggest you bring overnight essentials (toothbrush, toothpaste, and toiletries), clothing, and anything you cannot live without. Our houses also include playing cards and books.
Each house is stocked with cooking essentials for use during your stay, including a two-burner stove, a mini-fridge, dining ware, silverware, a can opener, a pour-over kettle, a pot, a pan, cooking/grilling utensils, kitchen knives, olive oil, and salt + pepper. Paper towels and dish soap are also provided. Feel free to cook inside on the stovetop or outside over the fire, but please limit pot and pan use to the stovetop only.
Each house is stocked with provisions for purchase to make your Runaway as easy as possible. You will always find coffee, tea, hot chocolate, insect repellent, and local firewood outside your house available for purchase. Prices are listed in your house.
Check-in begins at 14:00 (you can check-in at any time after) and check-out is at 12:00. You’ll receive an email with your house name and personalized entry code (we’ll also text you your code) the day your stay begins. Once you reach your house, simply enter the code on the door and begin to disconnect. When it comes time to head back to the real world, take a deep breath and be sure to press the lock button on the door before you go.
We love furry friends and you can bring yours along for a small cleaning fee. Be sure to stay with your dog at all times, keep them on a leash when outdoors and always clean up after them. We ask that you do not leave them inside the tiny house alone if you leave the area. All dog waste must be cleaned up.

Our mission is to offer simple escapes for people to unplug and connect with their loved ones. While we do our best to accommodate requests for houses located close to each other, Runaway is not the place for your next party. However, we do offer custom full site buyouts for groups a purpose in line with our mission. Note that any reservation looking for more than four houses will require a full site buyout.
For some weekend and holiday bookings, there is a minimum stay of 2 nights. To increase the benefits of nature and disconnecting, we recommend guests stay for at least 2 nights. All Runaways have a maximum stay of 15 nights.
We do. Stay 10 nights, and your next night is on us. You can find out more about the Runaway Often Club here.
Every house has its own unique name. During the reservation process, please, make sure that its neighboring house is available too.
Runaway houses are fully secured with our field team. Our houses are placed on plots of land where wildlife and insects may be present, so bear in mind you are responsible for taking appropriate safety measures. This means putting food away, keeping the site clean, securing personal items, and bringing your bug spray.
